The SHIFT module is designed as an interactive and creative guide for interfaith youth to strengthen their understanding, empathy, and advocacy skills on issues related to Freedom of Religion and Belief (FoRB).
Background
In an era marked by growing intolerance and polarization, it is essential to equip young people with a strong foundation in human rights, especially FoRB. PeaceGeneration developed the SHIFT module to create safe and engaging spaces for dialogue, empathy, and interfaith collaboration that promote tolerance and encourage impactful social action through art, media, and non-confrontational approaches.
Objectives
Provide an accessible and interactive learning module on FoRB for youth from diverse backgrounds

The module is divided into thematic sections that can be used independently or sequentially, allowing facilitators to tailor sessions to the needs of their groups.

Featuring illustrations, worksheets, and visually engaging activities, the workbook format helps participants document their reflections and ideas.
Experiential Learning and Media-Based Advocacy
Combining discussions, role-plays, case studies, and media-based assignments such as short videos, posters, and micro-campaigns to foster deeper reflection and real-world action.
